In December 2024, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center 1 welcomed the annual event “2024 Taiwan Medical Technology Show”, which attracted professionals and companies from all walks of life to participate in the exhibition to showcase the latest medical innovation technologies and solutions. This year’s exhibition is themed “AI x Precision Health Driving a New Future of Healthcare”, bringing together cutting-edge technologies from the country’s three major science parks to showcase a new vision for future health care.

At this exhibition, MicroDoctor Biomedical Inc.(established by DARWIN Precision Co., Ltd.) showcased its latest developed “surface enhanced Raman scattering detection platform for kidney injury marker protein-neutrophil gelatin (enzyme) associated lipocalin”, which can be used for early diagnosis of kidney injury. By utilizing chips with high hot spot effects, the detection platform can improve the sensitivity of detection, helping doctors to accurately determine the status of kidney damage. It serves as a comparison basis for subsequent diagnosis and is of great significance for the early detection and treatment of kidney disease.

The Central Taiwan Science Park Bureau(NSTC) said that Taiwan’s medical system is complete and its semiconductor and information and communications technology fields occupy a key international position, which will help develop the medical technology industry. Through cross-disciplinary cooperation among industry, academia, research and medicine, we will promote innovative applications of precision health in the fields of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and regenerative immunotherapy, and further expand the application scope of smart medicine.

With the continuous advancement of science and technology and the growth of medical needs, MicroDoctor Biomedical Inc. will continue to be committed to technological innovation and cross-field cooperation, promote the development of smart healthcare, and provide more advanced solutions for the global health care industry.
